The Bitcoin ATM, as pictured above by CNET , is designed to turn your cold hard cash into Bitcoins , in what could very well become the most seamless way to convert real money to the anonymous currency. Currently, the process of getting Bitcoins is a bit arduous. Because of the nature of the digital payment platform — which caters to people who thrive on anonymity — it is usually not possible to just buy Bitcoins with a credit or debit card. You can get them via bank transfer or by doing a Moneygram cash deposit.
