Bitcoin and Crowdfunding Working together to Kill the Banks?

Bitcoin and Crowdfunding - Could they Work together to Kill The Banks? It seems as though two of the biggest emerging ideologies over the next 2-3 years could be both Crowdfunding, as a means for the public to take control away from the banks, and Bitcoin, the currency that also takes power away from banks and governments alike. It makes me wonder if perhaps these two new ideas could intersect sometime soon to really make the bankers throw a fit. Lending club, for those who don't know, allows ordinary people to borrow money from the general public in exchange for a promise to pay it back with interest.
