Bitcoin prices have stayed afloat amid the Fed-fueled storm, but look out ahead

The stability has certainly improved – in my view the markets have found a quasi short term equilibrium. The nature of the past volatility arose from a large wave of interest into Bitcoin, which compounded to a point that could not be supported by the limited infrastructure available from Bitcoin services at the time. In addition to the uncertain legal environment, these factors gyrated the markets in the early parts of the year. Its worth noting prices are still up over 700% this year so far, and the major stability is now due to the fact that transactions are clearing more easily. Marginal buyers and sellers have lost some exaggerated influence essentially, as lags, abuses, and registration backlogs have subsided.
