BREAKING: FinCEN has issued two administrative rulings that affect #bitcoin

Regardless of the specific opinions of R012, I think that the business that inquired for this ruling has a very interesting and compelling business model (I find it interesting that the company name wasn't disclosed). This company's alleged business model manages to leverage Bitcoin's most compelling function, near 0% transaction costs. This "reverse bitpay" concept has been floating around the internet for some time now. It could be the missing piece of the puzzle in terms of making btc transactions convenient for merchants and customers. If the business could raise the necessary capital to comply with regulations and build a back office, I would think that this would make for a very compelling use case for Bitcoin.
