BitInstant เตรียมออกบัตรเดบิต/เครดิตสำหรับใช้กับ BitCoin

BitInstant ผู้ให้บริการแลกเปลี่ยน BitCoin เป็นเงินจริง มีแผนทำให้ BitCoin ถูกนำไปใช้ได้สะดวกขึ้นด้วยการสร้างบัตรเดบิต/เครดิตสำหรับ BitCoin ขึ้นมา ข้อมูลดังกล่าวมาจากบล็อก Coding In My Sleep ที่อ้างว่าได้คุยกับ Charlie Shrem ผู้ร่วมก่อตั้ง BitInstant โดยรายละเอียดของบัตร BitCoin คือทำงานได้เหมือนกับบัตร MasterCard ที่ใช้ๆ กันอยู่ ซึ่งให้บริการโดยสองธนาคารที่ BitInstant เป็นพาร์ทเนอร์ด้วย ค่าธรรรมเนียมฝากเงินเข้าอยู่ที่ 1% ถอนเงินเสีย 1.5 ดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯ บัตรชุดแรก 1,000 ใบแจกฟรี หลังจากนั้นคิด 10 ดอลลาร์ โดยคาดว่าจะแล้วเสร็จภายใน 6-8 สัปดาห์ ตอนนี้มีภาพ mock-up ของบัตร BitCoin ออกมาแล้ว โดยรวมหน้าตาเหมือนกับบัตรเดบิต/เครดิตทั่วไป แต่เพิ่ม BitCoin address ไว้ด้วย โดยด้านหน้าเป็น QR Code ส่วนด้านหลังเป็นตัวอักษรเปลือยๆ เลย ถ้าเป็นไปตามแผนที่ Shrem ว่าไว้ บัตร BitCoin จะใช้งานได้ทั่วโลก และตอนนี้ Shrem ก็เปิดแบบฟอร์มสำหรับสมัครบัตรแล้วครับ ใครสนใจลองเข้าไปดูได้ที่นี่ ภาพของบัตรด...
