Bitinstant собирается выпустить платёжную карту Bitcoin

Один из сооснователей сервиса Bitinstant Чарли Шрем в IRC-чате подтвердил , что в ближайшие 6 — 8 недель произойдет одно из важнейших событий в истории криптовалюты Bitcoin. Теперь расплатиться биткойнами можно будет в любом месте, где принимают платёжные карты MasterCard. Карту выпустит один из крупных международных банков (какой именно, пока неизвестно). На лицевой стороне карты будет нанесён QR-код с bitcoin-адресом владельца, на обратной стороне этот адрес будет в текстовом виде. В остальном это будет обычная банковская карта. Выпуск карты обойдётся примерно в 10 долларов, а первая тысяча карт будет выпущена бесплатно. За пополнение счёта будет взиматься комиссия в 1%, снятие денег через банкомат будет стоить от 1.5 долларов.
