Argentina to track all credit card purchases & impose 15% tax on all foreign transactions.

The issue here is conversion. I decided to buy some bitcoins just to try out the technology, using bitinstant in my country. Between bitinstant's fee, the service they're using, the bank and the taxes, the real-dollar-btc exchabge and I ended up paying $15 for each bitcoin. It's unrealistic to expect using bitcoins for all your transactions anywhere in the near future. Meanwhile 15% seems a great bargain!
