Blog z Bitcoin konferencie v Londýne aj po Slovensky: #bitcoin

Po konferencii v Prahe sa uskutočnila ďalšia európska Bitcoin konferencia v Londýne. Otvoril ju organizátor konferencie Amir Taaki a snažil sa uviesť Bitcoin do širšieho kontextu. Nasledovali tzv. lightning talks - krátke prednášky od kohokoľvek, kto sa prihlásil. Najzaujímavejšia bola prednáška Anthony-ho Gallippiho, CEO spoločnosti BitPay. BitPay je firma, ktorá umožňuje firmám akceptovať Bitcoin podobne ako PayPal (možno ešte aj jednoduchšie). BitPay berie na seba riziko kurzovej zmeny. Teda vaša e-commerce aplikácia presmeruje užívateľa na BitPay portál so sumou vo vašej natívnej mene (napr. v EURách). BitPay sa postará o platbu Bitcoinami, jej prevod na eurá a ich doručenie na váš účet. Z účtovného hľadiska je to len iný spôsob platby, takže BitPay umožňuje zjednodušiť administratívu tejto novej meny, ktorá sa zatiaľ pohybuje v legislatívnom vákuu. Zatiaľ žiaľ nepodpo...
