Humbly, there are those of us now suggesting that Bitcoin, too, may be a similarly important resource for mankind. Just as Wikipedia tried to revolutionize the world with open-source knowledge, so too is Bitcoin trying to revolutionize the world with open-source exchange. One might argue that knowledge is vastly more crucial to society than mere money, and thus to compare the opening of money to the opening of knowledge is inappropriate. But, indeed, from Wikipedia’s own pages an astute observer may come to learn the central place of money in society, and how it has been used as a tool of evil by those who are able to manipulate it. The role of money, just as knowledge, is at the core of human interaction, and while we cheer on Wikipedia for opening knowledge to the world, we are disheartened to see Wikipedia entirely disinterested in our similar efforts toward the opening...
