Jake Mauer has been building and tinkering since he could hold Lego bricks. Interested in art and photography he moved to Baltimore to study Interactive Media at the Maryland Institute College of Art. After four years of fun, photography, and ferrofluid sculptures (four times fast) he jetted to Japan to teach English in the Japanese Exchange Teaching program. Jake returned to Baltimore to get serious as a web designer and developer working for such clients as Johns Hopkins, Deutsche Bank, the University of Baltimore, and MBA.com. Feeling the pull of the west coast, Jake moved to San Francisco and works alongside the experts of the Intridea UX team melding design in to fast, functional front-end code.
