Our client, a large Online Sports Betting company located in Central London, is currently seeking a Ruby on Rails Developer to join them ASAP. The role itself is contract position working within an Online Sports Betting company located in Central London. Further information below. Requirements: - Ruby and Ruby on Rails - Javascript - TDD/BDD tools (Rspec, Capybara, Selenium) - Git - Ability to write code from scratch, debug, refactor & performance tune code - Experience with Object Oriented Analysis/design - Experience in XHTML, Javascript, CSS and general modern Web techniques - Familiarity with relational databases, preferably MySQL and Oracle - Understanding of web services technologies such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, WSDL, XSD. - Understanding of code manipulation and optimization issues - Knowledge of design patterns, refactoring and unit testing - Familiarity with the MVC ...
