In 2006, Kathy Sierra wrote an article called Dilbert and the zone of mediocrity where she asserts that if you want to be successful, then you don't want to just please everybody in order to make all of them just like you. You do things in a way that people will love you, but knowing that the consequence is that many others will certainly hate you in the process. It's an all of nothing proposition, if you just make efforts for everybody to like you, you are just being mediocre. There's a catch. It's not that you make things in order to make people love you. It's just that you should to things in a way that You Love It . What are trolls and haters? In essence, they come back to you everytime because they care about some of the same things that you do.
