Press Engine Yard Hosts Fourth Annual JRubyConf SAN FRANCISCO – February 29, 2012 – Engine Yard , the leading Platform as a Service (PaaS), today announced the lineup of keynote speakers and sponsors for the fourth annual JRubyConf to be held at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, May 21 through 23. JRuby, a Java implementation of the Ruby programming language, is a popular open source package that enables Ruby applications to run on the Java Virtual Machine (JVM ). The event, which brings together Java and Ruby developers, among others, expects to draw record attendance this year. The three-day event includes keynotes from the JRuby open source project’s core contributors, with details on the latest advancements in JRuby.
