I'm falling in love with this Faker gem. (via @fnando at #howtocode)

Faker, a port of Data::Faker from Perl, is used to easily generate fake data: names, addresses, phone numbers, etc. The port was motivated by a need for a bunch of fake data to make good-looking screenshots for Catch the Best . :) Installing sudo gem install faker Usage Faker::Name.name => “Bob Hope” Read the docs Forum http://groups.google.com/group/ruby-faker How to submit patches Fork the code at github , make your changes, and send me a pull request.
