Ok, we don't definitely need a flame war about something as important as testing your code. IMHO it really depends on the developer and the team, I wouldn't be the first to say that should use what you're more comfortable working with, and hopefully what makes you even more productive. That said, I'm an almost exclusive Cucumber/Rspec user, I do minitest/test-unit only for foreign projects from time to time, and I have to say, it's the methodology that matters here. I don't see any points if you're using Cucumber and Rspec to translate TDD into these tools and be cool about it. It has been done, it has been successful, but it's also the cause many devs simply "don't seem to get it".
