I'm writing a new app and want to try a new language. I need something that wont leak memory. I need dictionaries like C# or hash tables like php. I like good documentation. I like don't like PHP's function naming conventions example (sstrstrchr_reverse and ereg_replace sux. I like indexof() or .substring()). I like having anonymous methods like c# or javascript. It's faster for development. I'd like to be able to create controls pretty easily w/ animation or effects like jquery (I guess this is windows dev, so you can ignore this point i guess). Some libs w/ decent docs is a bonus. Xml and linq in C# are -sweet- and there are a lot of tutorials for them. Development time is a factor - I want quick development. I can't spend a day reading Docs because c# obfuscated the .left property in WPF to be Canvas.SetLeft and then find out it wont work because I didn't send it to the...
