The functionality should enable a group leader to sign-up, create a group around a purpose and then invite friends to join the cause. The group leader needs to pledge a certain amount of money initially and then friends are invited to pledge their own funds until they reach the target, the timeframe is met or the group leader decides to end the fund raising period.
