Show HN: Learning Ruby on Rails by creating an app

Why Codelearn ? How are we different | Our philosophy. The purpose of a any technology is to let users create an application. We at Codelearn believe that the best way to learn a technology is using it to do what it is meant for, which is, application development. In the past, a technology textbook or course looked like it is being created from the technology standard. The focus is on smaller details like syntax, elements (arrays, hash), schema, data-types etc. Smarter people always picked up the technologies not from the course/textbooks but by following a 'hands-on' tutorial. The tutorials pretty much takes people from zero to 'hello world' by teaching what is absolutely needed & ignoring the smaller level details. They also ignore quite a few 'behind the scene' activites - which could be overwhelming for the first timer. Technologies have evolved quite a bit with framew...
