I wish that the .NET community was more interested in pushing the platform beyond Windows/Visual Studio. If these libraries and tools are so awesome then why not get it working on Linux/OSX? I keep asking Microsoft reps "Hey that's looks cool. Can I try it in Linux or OSX?". Nope! Hey, you know what I can try instead? Anything else! Way to capture developer enthusiasm guys. And no, Mono only counts for part of it. It's the red-headed stepchild of .NET. The community doesn't seem to recognise it unless they want to do C# on mobile.
