This project is a pilot RoR project. We are interested in finding an individual who can work with us on a long-term basis on different Ruby-on-Rails projects. We are a small stable US-based software company that creates sports-related web-based software applications. We would like responses from individuals rather than contractor companies, since we are more interested in finding a single person who would like to work with us long term (for the next year at least). This pilot application will be to create REST-based web services for college soccer (known as football everywhere but the US) played in the United States. The application will create career reports for soccer players. It will have a minimal web-based user interface, but most of the usage will be from web services using JSON or XML.
