R3 Sends Cease-and-Desist to Bitcoin Developer Peter Todd

R3 is hilarious. Honestly insane how much more money than brains some people have. How do people get so much money while being so ignorant and uninformed? When organizations begin to really understand the problems that Blockchains can solve (and those that they cannot) groups like R3 will be regarded as highly uninformed. It seems with their dwindling membership maybe organizations are actually beginning to understand the futility of private or federated blockchains compared to either a centrally maintained database or a public blockchain. Private blockchains have all the downsides of central database, and all the downsides and costs of blockchain security, and they get none of the benefits of centralization, and none of the benefits a public blockchain provides.
